Mecc Alte has been named 2025 SME Growth Champion at the Panda d’Oro ceremony. The award recognises outstanding business performance by an Italian SME operating in China and reflects Mecc Alte Nantong's 30% year-on-year growth achieved during 2025.
This year's competition drew applications from dozens of Italian companies, with a single winner selected for each category and just two main prizes awarded in total. The award was presented at the ceremony by the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the CEO of ENI China, and the Ambassador of Italy to the People's Republic of China.
Paolo Carraro, Managing Director of Mecc Alte Nantong, said: [QUOTE TO CONFIRM] "Being awarded the main Panda d'Oro prize is a genuine honour. This recognition belongs to the Nantong team. Their hard work, commitment, and professionalism are what produced these results. I also want to thank our colleagues across Mecc Alte's global operations for everything they have contributed to our success in China. We are committed to building on this, investing further, and continuing to grow here."
This is the second consecutive year in which Mecc Alte Nantong has been recognised at the Panda d'Oro. The 2024 Innovation Award highlighted the company's investment in technology and new production capabilities. Taking the main prize for 2025 reflects the results those investments have delivered and reaffirms Mecc Alte's long-term commitment to its operations and customers in China.
