Mecc Alte SpA is the world’s largest independent producer of AC alternators in the range of 1-5000kva.
The USA subsidiary, Mecc Alte Inc. is headquartered in McHenry IL, and is looking to expand our operations. We are seeking talented individuals to help us grow and we have a job opening at our McHenry location.
- Establish new, and maintain existing relationships with customers. The assigned territory will be primarily the North Eastern Region of the US, the middle Atlantic states, Eastern Canada, and will have some Midwestern accounts.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating our product features and benefits.
- Interpret the customers’ technical and commercial requirements.
- Travel to meet clients directly and with our sales representative team. Expect an approximately 25% travel requirement (pending the lifting of COVID restrictions).
- Identify technical and commercial issues of assigned accounts and work with management to assure customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate pricing levels.
- Meet or exceed sales targets as agreed with sales management.
- Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations as required.
- Offer pre and after sales assistance.
- A Bachelors or an Associates Degree in EE or ME is preferred. Three to Five years of prior experience in a similar field will be considered.
- Must be a self starter and be multi-faceted. We are a small company and flexibility is often needed to help the team get the job done.
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Musts have good presentation skills, and be knowledgeable with presentation programs.
